Wine from two old parcels of chenin blanc, partially owned by the natural wine legend Patrick Desplats. The grapes here are rarely vinified- prone to disease given the poor, schist soils of the region, and often being negatively affected by botrytis - not to mention the miniscule yields. It's a powerful wine that fulfills the concentration of many lost vintages and low-yielding vines: full of character and bursting with life.

Sebastien Dervieux (AKA ‘Babass) was, like so many of our much adored and admired vignerons, a musician before finding his way into wine.
