A collection of wines that will sit comfortably atop any dining table. Spanning the gamut from light mineraly white, to dark brooding red. Perfectly poised to help nourish you in the long arduous transition from winter to spring
Kamptal Kollektiv, White 2020
An aromatic blend of mostly grüner veltliner, with a sprinkling of muscat, riesling and pinot blanc thrown into the mix. Fleshy and crisp, this easy-drinking, uncomplicated table white is the result of a collaborative project encouraging and enabling local farmers to convert to organic, low chemical interventionist farming. Cheers!
Celler Credo, Miranius 2018
Saline and a touch chalky, with heaps of freshness and just a bit of weight to the palate. Exceptional, versatile white from the folks behind the superb cavas of Recaredo.
Pheasant's Tears, Madlieri 2020
Densely packed herbs and dried flower aromas carry onto a concentrated, broad palate. A chalky finish wants for food alongside, and plants its feet firmly in the tradition of Georgian orange wines.
Craven, Cinsaut 2021
All destemmed into old barrels for 6 months with fruit coming from 80 year old vines. Lots of depth of character here, aromatic and plump, and a little juiciness. The palate stays light and fresh, and there's enough complexity to meditate on but plenty of drinkability to simply enjoy as well. A wine we reckon we'll be reaching for pretty frequently that hits that weekday-night spot.
Bois Moisset, Hedyos 2021
A cooling menthol grip gives freshness to this otherwise dark fruited, bold and mineral-rich wine.
Domaine d'Andezon, Signargues Côtes-du-Rhône Villages 2019
Ripe, dark-fruited, and silky wine from the Rhône that delivers richness and spice with a lovely balance of fresh acidity and lift.
