Diego Losada farms around 5 hectares in the Beirzo region of Spain's, Castilla y Leon. Organic from the outset and interested in seeking out plots of clay-calcareous soils, that are ideally not easily accessible by road. Secluded vineyards that may be less exposed to chemical treatments.
The vindemiatrix is a blend of 7 parcels most of which are co planted with red and white varieties. Fleshy red fruit makes up the core with herbs, spice and smoke abounding. The small percentage of white grapes gives lift, vitality and freshness.
