Jean-Christophe Garnier
La Roche Bezignon 2018

100% chenin blanc from 30-60 vines across JC’s La Roche and Bézigon sites. 2018 was a warm vintage, yielding ripe fruit that was then pressed slowly over a couple of days, allowing for a gentle oxidisation (not perceptible in the ‘finished wine’), and then aged for one year in barrel. The resulting wine has a depth and soft power that marries well with notes of fresh yellow apple and JC’s signature bright minerality.
