I read elsewhere on the internet that this wine is named after the "four toothed hoe" typical of
Pantelleria and I must admit I fully chortled. I digress - the wine is made from both red and white varietals indigenous to the island and teems with salinity, herbaceousness, and that gorgeously windswept character so prevalent in wines from this part of the world.
