Jeanne is the daughter of Dominique Piollot of Champagne house Marie Courtin. After finishing school in 2017, she and her partner set up in the Coteaux Bourguignons in the north of Burgundy (just 5km south of Champagne) , where they've continued the legacy of Dominique's farming and vinification techniques. Jeanne farms just a couple hectares of vines with organic and biodynamic principles, and works without additions during fermentation.

A broad, textural, gently marzipaned expression of chardonnay from this northernly region of Burgundy. A little saline character creeps into the palate and provides wonderful freshness that offsets that otherwise waxy mouthfeel. Wonderful wine of soothing palate weight and complexity.
