‘Di Gino’ refers to Natalinos’ father Gino who is responsible for the much of the pruning and care taking of this ancient vineyard, which sits west of Ancona in dei Castelli di Jesi region which is in close proximity to the Adriatic. As well as having exceptional fruit as a base, the wine spends several months on lees adding density and character. This process coupled with the history and winemaking skill in the family all help to produce wines that can be enjoyed on release, as well bottles that can lay for many years to come.
An entry level
Verdicchio that is the definition of crowd pleasing but more than that it offers layers, expression of grape and place and unmatched value. Great wine from an iconic producer. There aren't many wines of this complexity that exist at this price.
