An equal-part blend of grolleau and gamay from two separate clay-rich parcels. The parcels are picked at different times, allowing for single vinification of each and a real clear varietal expression to shine through from both sides. A tiny touch of candied fruit floats around the top and brings brightness to the supple fruit underneath.

Damien Menut joined the rich winemaking community of Touraine after spending time apprenticing with Guy Allion of Thesee. After working under Allion’s watchful eye, Menut had the opportunity to acquire some of his old, organic vines and vinify them under his own name. Now he farms 4 hectares of sauvignon blanc, cabernet franc & sauvignon, gamay and grolleau planted on porous clay soils.
