Christian Tschida is a poet when it comes to making wine, he manages to coax every bit of beauty out of the berries and refines every subtlety. He is one of the only people lucky enough to work with the grapes from Nationalpark Neusiedlersee, and his attitude is 'let it run' or Laissez-Faire as one of his other wines is aptly named. This is a classic and refined beautiful Blaufrankisch with a crunchy acidity silky tannin and a voluptuous mouthfeel. This wine from the Northern Burgenland region, sits somewhere between a Zweigelt and a Cabernet. Spicy tomato leaf characters, with a cool spice great minerality and loads of length. There is a slight smokiness, chargrilled capsicum with lavender and Rosemary. Medium bodied with a freshness and beautiful length. Pretty, dark and juicy the Kapitel 1 is an incredible wine
