Noble Fine Liquor
À Table! Mixed Pack

Vinos Ambiz, 'Rhythm of the Nat' 2020

Honestly i think we bought this wine solely on the name alone. "This is the rhythm of the Naaat!" Sooo Nat! hahahahaha....hah..ha..mmmm....yeah so it also tastes great. Violet aroma's, big crunchy bead (aka bubble size), it's playful and fun, ripe jammy dark fruit with just a lick of spice. Winemakers tend to deploy the use of puns for their cuvée names, often without much success. But this. This horse wins the race for me. Good luck trying to get it out of your head for the rest of the day.

Succés Vinicola, 'Experiencia' 2019

Parellada is often tucked into blends that go into making the regions ubiquitous cava. Missing its chance to be savoured as a single varietal wine. Experiencia is lush with steely acidity. Saline in places. To be enjoyed thinking that young people still have a chance to do something noble with their lives, something different to being slotted in front of a screen typing notes that 1% of humans will read. Salut!

The classic weekday 'reach for' chardonnay from Fond Cypres that sits nicely in the medium weight camp, balanced by an energetic, pithy acidity. More wines of this nature are needed. Approachable, affordable, delightful and uncomplicated.

Folias de Baco, 'Curtido' 2020

From 1.5ha of 35 year old vines planted to a blend of schist and granite soils. Hand harvested in early September with extensive vineyard sorting, whole cluster pressing with 4 month maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel (5000L) using ambient yeasts that lasts for approximately seven weeks under temperature control. The wine spends approximately four months on lees, with stirring once a month, and aged in stainless steel for four months. Not fined or filtered. Gateway orange wine if ever there was one. Gentle and fresh, with bright juicy acid and generous, fleshy stone fruit like aromas and flavours that are true to varietal.

Le Clos de Jarres, Rosé 2020

Grenache berries are soaked for 2 weeks in the juice from direct pressed vermentino. This experimantal infusion yields a dry, medium weight "rosé" that is all juicy cherries, a little soft spice and a refreshing , taut acidity. The adventurous will be rewarded with a wine that makes you keep coming back for more.

Verdevique, Tinto Cosecha 2018

Wine of comforting weight and density, with a touch of wood influence that bring warming spices and soft vanilla character to the palate.
