Domaine Dandelion
Brun Doré 2018

A cuvée born of a happy misunderstanding - a neighbour of Morgane's had extra fruit in one of her parcels, and mentioned to Morgane's mother that Morgane & Christian were welcome to use the fruit. Well, as moms sometimes do, she forgot to mention to her daughter that crucial information - and the fruit over-ripened on the vine. One day, Morgane casually mentioned to her mom that there was fruit left on the vines in her neighbour's plot - of course the situation all came to light then. So, this one-off cuvée was born out of luck, really - 2018 being a hot and dry vintage meant the fruit didn't develop unhealthy rot, instead just a little extra sugar and a few streaks of noble rot through the vines. As such, they made a one-off sweet wine with racy acidity and just about 30g residual sugar. A treat and something pretty uncommon to find in the region.
