My sister adores rosé, but we grew up pretty far (mentally if not geographically) from the shores of Provence. The sun still shines on the North Coast of Ireland, but Summers there are wanting of a wine with more weight, more grip, more warmth.
Volpe Rosa 2020 - This wine is zesty, mineral and herbal. It has a real tension and lightness thing, like over-extracted hibiscus tea. In the best possible way, obviously.
Mada Bang Bang 2020 - You've got a direct press of Grenache Noir, fermented and aged in barrel. The fruit here is much riper, much longer in the finish, with flashes of spiciness and flint giving warmth and intrigue.
Grappeo 2020 - Something equally as nourishing butin a more saline and pithy world - think pink grapefruit and wild strawberries. This wine really shows like a bitter aperitif, something in a similar vein to Campari.
