Pierre-Marie Luneau’s 50 ha estate is anything but a micro winery but still, they have a long lineage of winemaking, with Pierre being the 9th generation in his family to make wine. The domain itself has been in existence since the 18th century. Granted it’s a fair size estate but you can’t argue with heritage. Plots are vinified separately so as to harness the expression of each terroir, capitalising on the predominately micashchist and genesis soils.
For lovers of picpoul. A true expression of melon de bourgogne grown on a mix of volcanic rocks, silica and silex. A balanced, clean, lean and mineral wine from the Atlantic-adjacent end of the Loire Valley. The perfect apéritif and a friend of shellfish.
